"My GTI PP got an error code about the front differential lock in November. I visited a local VW dealer in December and they charged £144 without any serious checks and left a line saying "Please replace Haldex oil to fix the problem". I took my car to another local private garage that claimed to be a VW specialist and reported the same problem to them, they changed the oil for a fee and told me to check the Haldex pump. The expert told me that everything was fine with my car but I got my error code again that very night! Totally disappointed, we contacted DAS again, and we got a comprehensive inspection and a positive result. And with the help of Ms. Sharon, she managed to save time and money. I would say that only through this series of events can you understand how a professional and responsible private garage works!
