"Love this shop, literally everything you need to make authentic Indian food."
"very poor customer service, limiting amounts of products to buy, eggs, rice, onion., We recommend to go to other shops where there is no limits. Avoid if you can"
"Do NOT ever waste a penny at this obnoxious, money grabbing store, so called, 'small family business'. The rudest, and nastiest little man (PARV is his name). Sent me goods all very dangerously damaged, bar four items usuable out of nearly fifty units of products. He requested a collection of the goods and for me to pack items carefully which were only fit for the bin. He had made it clear that he will resell, despite me saying if anyone ate such damaged tinned goods they could get botulism. So money grabbing that he wasted my time all day awaiting a collection. I shop very frequently online. All other companies tell me to bin damaged items and they refund He wants explicit photos, and then the goods returned Pure waste of my time And then, to make matters worse, he does not pay me the full amount. He is quibbling about four pounds? Yes £4. Requesting I send back items I never received to send back The man clearly is so money grabbing he simply cannot see straight Perhaps he lives in the twilight zone. I mean, how can someone send goods they never received? Also the man PARV owner, is a stalker. I requested he does not make contact with me ever again. Email after email since i had no choice but to dispute with my bank If you value good food, and your sanity, then steer clear. Please, please go bust ASAP"
"Extremely bad and unprofessional service. Majority of goods fit for the skip I have not had much luck over the last few years with South Asian run online food stores. Frequently sending damaged, or out of date stock that can't be shifted in store Hallans/Somaya is the very worst I have had yet Order was dumped in wrong location, and later than allocated time by many hours. The courier lied and said handed to a person whose name they even fabricated. Parcel was not handed to anyone and just dumped near open door next to high road I received an order with two items missing. One jar the lid was dented all over and off the jar loosely. Twenty one tins out of twenty six were terribly crushed and dented making them unsafe to eat. The seams of tins were in a bad way, and sharp dents meaning botulism could be present But still, after photographic evidence of such, the company wanted me to pack the goods nicely. Most probably to resell. Otherwise who would want damaged stock packed nicely and returned, or even to be returned at all The collection will cost me a whole day of 9 to 5 to wait. Wow! Usually when receiving damages I may just say, or photograph the issue and then dispose But, this company is too much hassle They could have done a refund after seeing the photos But they want to wait for return of goods After so much hassle for a first order with them No compensation for the inconvenience and stress Before anyone says article is 'racist', I must add that I am Asian/Indian I will stick with the Chinese supermarkets as I find brilliant customer service online shopping Any issues a quick refund andcto dispose of damages And seldom have any damages as professionally packaged"
"What a great find. Friends took here. An amazing array of spices and other foodstuffs. Reasonable prices. I stocked up for my trip home abroad the next day."
