"Last week I went into the Lakeland store in Norwich and spotted a dual slow cooker. Ideal for me as I'm a vegetarian and my husband is a meat eater. However, I am disabled and had come by bus. The lady I spoke to was lovely and went to see the manager, Alan. One of the most pleasant and courteous people I have met in a very long time. I was told it would be no problem and minutes later Alan was carrying the slow cooker to the bus station for me. He made sure I was safely seated before leaving me to continue my journey. I am 76 years old and had thought such service was a thing long past. He restored my faith in human nature. Thank you Alan and all the staff at Lakeland. The cooker has been in daily use since and it is brilliant!"
