"We would just like to say that we were very pleased with Scott at Howdens south Norwich from the very beginning of our enquiry re our kitchen . He came to our home & then sent us a design by email & kept us informed all the way through by email & telephone we visited him at hall road to look at the design on a wide screen also look at the quality of doors, appliances etc. Our kitchen was delivered on time & with no damages thanks to the staff at Howdens from warehouse to delivery driver etc. We can not fault the service we received from Scott & our kitchen fitter. Our kitchen looks exactly like the design we first saw!!!! It was all done too during Covid 19 Many thanks to Scott for all his hard work & services nothing was ever too much trouble"

"Highly dissappointed. Wanted 1 wall of new units with built in ovens & Fridge in our kitchen previously done by howdens. We were advised to speak to Scott who came round to do the designs for it and have a look at our current kitchen to match it. Delivery turns up, Carcasses are all brown, our current cupboards have white. When we bought this up to Scott he told us 'Yes sorry, the white is discontinued' Which we believed and accepted although it would have been nice for him to tell us he was sending us brown instead of white instead of just sending them. However after looking online we found that the white hadn't been discontinued at all and he had just got it wrong from looking at our glass cabinets instead of inside the actual cupboards. I can understand this may be a mistake, but to quite blatantly lie to us by telling us it was 'discontinued' instead of just accepting you sent the wrong ones and rectify the problem is just out of order. We've also had the builder in today to start fitting this. His measurements are completely out, There was a thermostat on the wall which we wanted to sit in a gap between cupboard and surface. However on fitting the builder realised that there had been no room allowed for this and the cupboard actually went over it, meaning he had to spend time moving the thermostat. Not only that but Scott failed to tell us that we would need a new piece of granite as he was extending the units out to sit level with the fridge freezer, meaning the current granite we have would be far too short to fit on the work surface. So the builder has had to adapt the cupboards and make this section shorter to be able to use the granite we already have. When I go to a company as large as howdens, things like this I expect to be just stress free and simple. However this couldn't have been more of a shambles and when we come to wanting the whole kitchen refitted, we won't be using howdens again."

"after sales service, very poor. items missing when delivered. could not even be bothered to call back when they got new parts. dishwasher broke within a year. called them waited a week, only to call them again. they then said I had to call supplier up direct. would I use them again NO WAY. typical company, you get all the service prior to payment. once payment recieved. forget about service."
