"Perhaps it had been a long day for the dentist, but at my son's appointment yesterday the dentist was unprepared. She didn't introduce herself, but she was not rude. Unfortunately in answer to my questions the dentist didn't seem to know his age or date of birth. I felt embarrassed by asking simple questions, because of the inconsistencies. I anticipated that basic details like date of birth would inform plans and appropriate answers about treatment plans. Difficult to trust a practitioner if the patient is not taken seriously."
