"Awesome staff especially Goldie and Rosie. Great atmosphere, good range of drinks. Not eaten here yet but planning on doing so soon. Looking forward to the quiz too. Had a DJ on Friday which was loud enough to be fun, quiet enough to still hear each other! Perfect Great pub not a boring chain place."
"The pub itself is pretty nice but the selection of beers is really uninspiring. Normally a choice of 10 or so would be great, but they are all very similar lagers and pale ales. Some darker ones would be nice on a cold winter's night!"
""Prior to its re-fit the pub had a reputation for being a dingy and dated, but loveable escape-the-trouble-and-strife type of place...that crowd must have moved on because I discovered a bright, kid-friendly, modernised, open plan, hipster focused establishment. The chalk-written beer wall nicely highlights the beer options above a neat row of taps, however just because it’s written in chalk I doubt the options rotate much at all. If beer’s not your thing then the pub is now ‘gin obsessed’, according to their website, with more than 20 gins available. Well it is Hove after all." "Great vibes, great Sunday roast. Lovely staff. Will definitely be back soon."
"What a find! Recently refurbished by a management team with a penchant for fairy lights (in all the right ways). The beers are good, local and plentiful. The ginventory is extensive and most importantly, the Sunday roast is difficult to finish and quite remarkable. While macadamias in the delicious vegan nut roast. Lamb shank falling off the bone and fresh mint sauce. Our new fav local."
