"Shockingly bad. Last Wednesday my partner and I came in to dine in the evening on a whim and it didn’t take long to regret that decision. On arrival I noticed staff personal belongings and admin items strewn across a darkened side of the restaurant, first red flag. We were seated by lovely staff (my one star goes to Courtney and Elliot) and we set about ordering with our smiley, bubbly waitress, Courtney. We then spent around one hour waiting for food and as we looked around the restaurant it became apparent that we were all waiting and waiting and waiting… The FOH staff kept a smile on their faces and did their best to explain the wait and make people feel better about it but they were clearly very defeated by whatever was going on. As two people who have worked in this industry for a long time I know a kitchen problem when I see one. The loaded potato skins came out and were not the vegan ones we ordered. They were also burnt so badly there was no edible potato left. I alerted the waiter and sent them back. After a while Elliot appeared and apologised for the wait and said he would sort the skins himself while we were still waiting for our mains. We contemplated leaving at this point but once you’ve already waited an hour and are very hungry you push yourself just that little bit further… our food finally arrived and wasn’t that exciting. The vegan fajita mix is a sizzling show but I could make better at home and the avocado and tomato dips/fillings were not fresh. The wedges while not burnt were still weirdly dark on the outside and dry on the inside. The Jack Daniels vegan chicken was the highlight of the meal but didn’t redeem the whole experience. Of course we didn’t bother to send anything back after waiting this long. Once we’d finished both Courtney and Elliott were apologetic and took money off our bill. I felt terrible for them. Whatever is going on in that kitchen, sort it out as a priority. It is never right or fair to allow such poor performance in the kitchen to the point that FOH staff have to face the customers and take the flack for something out of their control."
"I visited 3 times. The 3 times the service was awful. The food was good. The drinks barely ok. The 3 times a waitress was apologizing for making the customers wait for so long for their food. You can see all the customers wondering about if it was a good idea or not to visit this place. The first time it was early (11 am?) and there was no one at reception so I walked trying to get a table near the window and a waitress stopped me despite the restaurant being almost empty. I was doubting to get in the place so early to begin with and I was sure she got mad because I didn’t wait at the entrance so I just calmly decided to go away and not deal with her passive aggressiveness. Too early for that. The second time I was decisive to eat here after a long walk and was patient to get a seat. It was half full and I got seated at a tiny table away from the windows. I waited about 40 minutes to get 3 chicken wings and a beer. I was considering to order more, using their wifi to unblock some money pot from my digital wallet, but their wifi didn’t work and so I decided to try another day. The final one was today when I went there again, decisive about ordering a burger and try their cocktails and just having a good time by myself, I already knew what to order so I thought it was going to be quick… I got seated again at these tiny tables despite there were several empty near the window. The table was dirty and I realized too late that there were no cutlery or napkins. Anyway, 20 min after being seated there, finally someone approaches me to take my order. She apologized and some other half hour more she finally brought my burger. It was very good and the fries were also consistently good as the other day. I finished and ordered a cocktail which was quite weak in terms of flavor. I saw a family walk away because they were waiting too long for their order. Another 20 minutes to get the check. I think the staff here is doing the “quiet resigning” thing or they are severely understaffed, both in the kitchen and the other staff too. Burned out probably. It’s a place that requires patience. Not worth another visit from my side. I am a very patient person and I would hate to bring another person and have them complaining about this poor service and ruin my “friday”."
"Absolutely disgusted! Waited 45 minutes to have our drinks order and the restaurant was not even busy … waited 45 minutes for our food to come and when it did arrive the quality was poor , my burger was very hard and very over cooked. The drinks tasted disgusting and the restaurant itself was dirty and tables left unclean for a long period of time. Staff were not very attentive."
"Really yummy food and drinks. Good baby change. We went at lunch time and it wasn't busy at all but they club everyone together so you feel on top of each other. I get why they do it. Food and drink quite pricey but it's so good."
