"A real hidden gem of a place. My wife and I, along with our 2 kids found History Pizzeria in passing. We immediately felt very welcome and the restaurant is so clean and welcoming. We were just after a light bite for lunch and our kids can be very fussy. There's the perfect amount of choice on the menu, and we went with ham and cheese ciabatta for the kids and a slice of pizza for us. Wow! Every single item is freshly made and when I say fresh, I mean beautifully fresh. The bread isn't from a packet, its cooked made at point of order and cooked in the kitchen. Also a quick mention about the coffee. Truly authentic Italian Espresso, that is simply perfect! Absolutely stunning food and the chef "H" is a real gentleman. Fantastic chat about his hometown in Italy and his family. His food and his restaurant are amazing and we will definitely be back for a dinner. Don't hesitate to try this place, you will not be disappointed."
"Our family was in Brighton for the night and saw this highly reviewed pizza place near our hotel and escape room. We made a reservation via email and the owner was very fast to respond. The decor inside is very pretty and inviting. The menu choices were extensive and we tried both the focaccia and three types of pizza. The service was really fast and the food was DELICIOUS!!! Some of the best pizza we've enjoyed in Europe/the UK! And even better than the food was the customer service. The owner and his brother were so kind, attentive, friendly and generous! Customer service makes all the difference and you could tell that they genuinely care about their customers and providing a wonderful experience and product. We got tiramisu to go and they offered a complimentary Cannoli. Both were so delicious! So even if you are stuffed by their generous meal portions, get a dessert (or two) to go and enjoy them when you get home! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!"
