"We were a large family looking for a table on a busy Saturday night. We called to check for availability and were lucky to get a table. Never been here before and pleasantly surprised. It’s a large building and decorated in beautiful furnishings. Great menu and several meat, fish and vegetarian options. We were served by a lovely young lady called Molly who was very friendly and attentive all evening. A very pleasant evening for the whole family. Thank you"
"Loved it, found it on Google maps near our hotel, as we were early for check in. Smallest bar in Brighton, great beer, friendly staff and dog friendly."
"Excellent pub this tucked away , just off the main prom. A great selection of good local fair priced cask and Keg ales . Friendly welcome , a must go to pub for Camra followers ."
"DUDE what an awesome pub. For beer fans, this is what Brighton has been SCREAMING out for. No pretence what-so-ever (a very rare thing in this town!), a beer selection beyond criticism, served with quality in mind, and a game of Toad-in-the-Hole out the back. Best pub in Brighton."
"Superb addition to the 'micro' pub range in Brighton. Away from the throngs of youngsters (but still within 5' minutes of main shops, seafront etc) the former Queensbury Mews pub has been very stylishly converted into a modern micro-style pub. Very knowledgeable bar staff will help customers choose a suitable drink. 12 keg beers/lagers and 3 cask ales available on my visit. Cocktails also available. In line with 'micro' pubs, The Hole only has pub snacks, such as crisps, nuts, pork scratchings etc, but again a wide selection of these so take advantage!! The Hole in the Wall has opened during the extremely challenging Covid pandemic and deserves to succeed. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED."
