Reviews
"Ended up there before going out out for a work do, where I was introduced to a baby Guinness which was a delight. Pretty nice little pub, was a bit too small for the 12 of us out but that wasn't the pubs issue! Would go back again for a swift half"
"Booked a table for 4 early on a Friday night. The place was very busy, but table was waiting and ready for us. Very good staff who were quick and efficient. A good menu which was at a decent price. A good selection of beers. This is a nice happy pub with a good interior and nice clients. Well worth a visit."
"Really enjoyed the walnut and beetroot pastry Sunday roast! Large servings of flavourful veg, plenty of gravy. 2 vegetarian options and 4? meat ones. Good service also."
"Our group deliberately booked a later Sunday lunch so that we can have a prompt meal but enjoy the rest of the afternoon at the pub. We had to wait over an hour for our food and although my meat was delicious, there was a lack of vegetables and the Yorkshire pudding was more a pancake....an afterthought by the kitchen staff or was that what was left? The vegetarian choice did not have a Yorkshire pudding!"
