"It's great to see the Foxhunter open again. The pub itself is unrecognisable but lovely nonetheless. We ate in The Elephant and Castle. The staff are welcoming and friendly. It was busy a lunchtime when we arrived but the atmosphere was great and the food was delicious. Will return for dinner soon. It's definitely worth a visit."
"We had such a lovely dining experience the first time we went to the Foxhunter (Sept) we decided to return. This time was to celebrate a friends milestone birthday. What a difference a month made. One of the party returned her mains twice, the first time her steak sandwich arrived on two slices of toasted bread. The second time it arrived correctly on ciabatta bread but the steak was so cold, fridge cold. Another of the party returned her dinner because it too was cold. It was at least half an hour before it was returned to her. Three of us ordered the ice cream with hot fudge sauce for dessert. No hot fudge sauce. On a positive note, nothing was too much trouble for the floor Staff and they should be commended for their work. Sadly we will not be returning."
"We came here for Wow Burger, our first time. We ordered 4 meals at the counter including a vegan burger meal. We had to wait about 10 minutes to be served at the hatch. We didn't check the order before we left as they are well wrapped up. When we got home 10km away, there was NO vegan burger but 4 beefburgers. It was disappointing and we were too far away to go back. The beefburgers were nice. The chips were not great. We would give them another chance and next time we would eat in and see what it's like. We wouldn't order a takeaway again. If you live across the road it may be fine."
"You cannot beat elephant and castle wings. Super. Really handy to get in and out of when coming out of Dublin. Staff were really friendly and attentive. The kidzone is the best I have ever seen anywhere. Family friendly restaurant doesn't do the place justice. It's a must stop for anyone."
