Reviews
"Used Tesco rewards here, so no real complaints, but pasta portion sizes are small if you're paying full price. Good friendly and efficient service."
"My sister and I came here because we wanted pizza and we knew that Ask Italian make gluten free pizzas. The staff were very friendly and helpful as they gave us free samples of drinks which my sister ending up enjoying and ordering for herself. The kitchen staff went out of their way to make sure our pizza was gluten free and it tasted wonderful. You could not tell that there was no gluten in the pizza which was a relief as my sister is really fussy. Would definitely recommend ASK as your next meal out."
"Nice place to eat in the centre of Swansea. The food was well presented and tasted good. The restaurant itself was very nice inside, well kept. Seemed to be a lot of young people working here. Messed our order up. Forgot my side of rosemary potatoes. I asked the young waiter twice where my side was but still didn't receive them. He then asked did I still want them while serving us our desserts. Very disappointing as my main was served with literally 2 new potatoes cut in half."
"Hilarious. You can order and pay on the app but can't get a signal and their WiFi is rubbish. It's fine though. The waitress told us from the start that we could either use the app or do it the old fashioned way. I like what that old guy says in the Saga advert, it's not old fashioned it's vintage, yeah! I'd read the reviews beforehand and the main issue appeared to be the time taken to serve the food etc. Little did they know that Escobar had a few hours to kill and so this played right into my hands. First, clearly sensing that they had a VIP in, they served us some complimentary home made lemon juice. The starter was one of the best I have ever had in the World and I have obviously been to many excellent places for both business and pleasure. It was the nduja garlic cheese dippy thing, double yummy. The main meals were delicious too. The waiter was enthusiastic and polite and was handsomely rewarded with a nice tip. A lovely couple of hours spent relaxing with great food. Watch the step on the way to the gents. I'm lucky that I always have my wits about me and so it could not catch me out but ordinary types should be careful."
"We had booked a table and stated in the booking that we are both wheelchair users but they put us at a table which was not accessible due to the bench seating on one side. They attempted to resolve this, not by moving us to a suitable table but by pulling the table out into the centre of the space. I ended up sitting in front of an archway which was being used by staff to bring customers food and drink. It felt very awkward and like we were on display to the whole restaurant. The ordering system wasn't clear with one member of staff telling us to use the QR code and another coming and taking our order themselves. The food was wrong at first but this was corrected. We both had pasta dishes which were fine but not something that will make me want to come back in a hurry."
