"Rude and RACIST store manager. Would not let us in at all, we were only allowed in 2 at a time. Had no reason to not let us in and was very aggressive. I attached a photo of him, I didn't want to get closer because of how aggressive he was to mr before"

"The issue that I have experienced was: Today I’ve gone into Poundland in Penge at 7:25pm and I was refused service by the security guard and an Asian staff member at the door. I needed Nair removal cream and some medication as I am pregnant but when I spoke to the security at the door and explained this, he turned his back on me and said he doesn’t care and refused me entry. There was a guy outside that asked me what the problem was and when I explained he asked the security to let me in as I’m pregnant and I was shaking and having a panick episode. To which the Asian staff member over heard and eventually came to let me in and said I only have 3 mins. I went straight to my isle and he continued shouting at me that I need to hurry up putting me under more pressure and when I asked the lady if they had anymore, he then went on to tell me I don’t look pregnant and what I need is not for my pregnancy. I have an underlying issue and to be embarrassed in front of soo many and humiliated because I’m pregnant and have needs was sooo disgusting I would like to raise a FORMAL COMPLAINT. I even asked the security for his name but he laughed and covered his name badge. I’m sure you can track who was working as security at 19:25pm saturday 22nd October 2022. The Asian staff member calmed down as I feel he knew this was against the pregnancy law but the security guard kept going when I was inside the store and even when I had left and got in my car which was across the road, hounding words at me and creating a scene. For him to discuss my situation with others was disgusting and I will like to take further action as I feel like a man who is suppose to protect me displayed actions on bullying and intimidation. It occurred on: 2022-10-22 This meant that I feel like I was put under immense stress, pressure, humiliation and embarrassment. Especially as he was trying to get other people in the store to side with him. I was shaking and sweating and my hormones were all over the place which is NOT OK for my baby."
