"Never shop again here! recommend all shoppers to avoid this branch. Abusive Rude and disrespectful manager who can hardly communicate in English. I can see some other people left similar feedback about him here and I wonder why H’&M will not do any thing about him! You cannot keep a rude disrespectful guy to upset local people. I am a regular local shopper and I am so upset that never thought I’d have to come here to leave a review. Since we don’t have more fashion retailers in Putney I always buy most my cloths from this branch of H&M. I have been living here all my life: I have never confronted such a rude unreasonable uncivilised retailer staff in any stores. He humiliated me front of other customers for no reason. Not willing to help or offer any assistance and keep shouting at me front of everyone and blaming me why I was shouting at him!! I simply bought something online and asked to be delivered to my local store. When I reached the counter I spoke to this guy and said that I was there to pick up my item but also wish to rerun it at the same time as I already bought it from them on Wednesday. He then with abusive behaviour said that I’d need to go upstairs and log in to collect it myself. I am not familiar to click and collect and also have limited mobility issues as well as stress and anxiety. I said I was sent a message to pick it up with a pin code and why not he gave me a favour and get it for me as I was going to return it anyway and I didn’t know how to use it and I did not know this was the case and it was not clear and explained online when I was purchasing this. I said anyway I’d would have to go back to him to return it. The shop was empty and quiet with no crowd waiting whatsoever. He could easily have helped me but instead He shouted at me with horrible attitudes and turned a away from me while kept shouting at me and accusing me front of other customer and another staff member that I was shouting. I reminded him to be calm down as I was very polite and all I was asking was extra help and and no need to be so unreasonable. But he would shake his head and refusing talking to me. I asked the other customer if she thought I was the one shouting and she confirmed that was not the case. I felt so humiliated and stressed and desperate for help as I was in rush to get to my hospital appointment. I was left in the middle of the shop with no one to offer any kinda help. I will definitely take this further in my good time and will send the official complaint when I can find the right people to reach out and will take this matter to the court if this person is going to be there and H&M wouldn’t do anything about him."
"I’m not the type of person to complain , but today I experienced very rude customer service that affected my all entire day."
"Took 20 minutes to serve me today when I was the only one in line waiting for them to finish their conversation and isn’t what i expected from them at all!!"
"Absolutely terrible customer service. I was in the shop today to quickly buy some sport equipment. I picked up what I needed and went downstairs to pay but was a huge line with only one cashier, so I decided to go upstairs and try my luck. I was told very bluntly by the lady behind the register that is closed and I need to go downstairs. So I went back, but the line was even bigger. So I decided to wait. When one of the lady employee passed by, I think her name is Alice, I kindly ask her if would be possible for anyone to help the cashier so the line would advance faster, to which she rudely responded, “go upstairs” and turn her back and walked away while I’m trying to explain that upstairs is close, however she kept walking away. Everyone around me was shock by how she acted. As I’m getting close to pay Alice walked by me so I wanted to ask her if she finds normal to act like that with a client, however she decided to completely ignore me and kept walking towards the register. When my turn finally came to pay, about 10 min in the line, I asked her if she finds it normal to treat a customer this way. Alice responded, “ I don’t have time for chit chat”. I said I’m sorry but this is not chit chat was an equiry and while I was talking she said” Bohooo “ . To be fair I was shocked and I told her that no one with this attitude should choose to work in customer service. I work 20 years in hospitality and I would have never dare to respond/talk like that to with customer and I think is absolutely appalling that a H&M employee can be this rude with a client. I wish I did not need to make that purchase and just walk away, however the conjuncture was that I really needed to get that particular item. Also I think is important to specify that at the time thsi happen there were at least other 3 associated in the close proximity but no one decided to help until finally the one cashier decided to call for help. Yet when she called it was possible for them to go help but when I tried to ask them if would be possible I was give the back. I’ve been shopping in H&M for year and years and never ever happened to have such an unpleasant experience. I will never step my foot in the shop ever again."
"As this is one of my local stores I love going there especially after they have refurbished it, it looks lovely! I feel bad for the staff though, I went there today and there were a lot of customers getting angry, verbally abusing the staff that they need to wait in the queue to be served… this really shows how little respect they have for people in retail. It was really uncomfortable for me to stand there and listen to the people in the queue shouting at the cashiers. I wonder why they don’t feel any kind of shame? I have read reviews on here mostly mentioning one till open but if they don’t have enough staff then why frustrate those poor folks who work there? It’s baffling to me how entitled everyone is, going there at lunch time expecting instant checkout. I hope they recruit some more people for the sake of their mental health… xx"
