"…very satisfied; +10 for the place, ambience, attendance, offers; handy for local shopping and good opening hours where you can really find everything we need in our lives and even more than we could imagine at the best quality and possible they have the best prices on the market; plus I was very impressed that the store it was very clean and the staff very friendly and helpful ☺️"
"Used to go here regularly, late evening on the way home. Good service - not great range but hey ho. Now every time I cycle past I see empty shelves - particularly my favourite desserts. I don’t even bother going in as it is seemingly always half stocked at best. Additionally I had to do staffs job for them by pointing out that they can’t legally sell meat when they’ve (by their own admission) left it on their ‘discounted’ trolley for over four hours (the trolley is in the middle of the floor and not chilled). They thanked me for pointing it out but did nothing about the now dangerous and illegal meat products on their reduced trolley. Hope no one got sick!"
"Excellent Co op branch! The customer service is very good and has improved ever since they opened 2 years ago! The staff are very friendly and helpful and all employees are wearing PPE. Social distancing measures are strictly in place. The store is clean and well organised! There are too many Tesco branches within the area and living in Aldgate for 11 years I was extremely excited to see something new and fresh open in Aldgate! Honestly, Co op are the future King of Convenience Supermarkets! The store is very futuristic with modern self checkouts which are very fast. There is a whole row of them. However, sometimes they accidentally scan the product twice but this only happened to me once. All self checkouts are card only so if you want to pay by cash it is an issue. The store is well stocked and it is quiet now very quiet in fact. Pre lockdown, this Co op branch would be extremely busy now it's nowhere near busy. Hence, you can get absolute bargains on their red "clearance stickers" After 6pm, I got bakery cookies for 45p for a 5 pack, various sandwiches and pre packed fruit for less than 50p and there was top of the range "Irresistible" cakes which were normally £3 for 74p! Co op is somewhat more expensive than nearby Tesco express branches but there are plenty of multi buy offers such as 2 for £1 across chocolate bars and most fizzy drink bottles are either 2 for £2.20 or 4 for £4.50. The meal deal at £3.50 is a whole 50p more than Tesco but the Co op Meal Deal boasts an excellent range of products with a variety of salads. The Vegan and Vegetarian options are brilliant and expanding here too. The food to go range here is undefeated! The Hot Food range is vast with various breakfast rolls (Sausage, Bacon and Fish Finger Rolls) and various different pasties such as chicken, cheese and onion, sausage bean and cheese, vegan steak (that one is delicious), sausage rolls and vegan sausage rolls there is a whole lot more honestly! Your spoilt for choice! There are also 2 Costa Coffee Machines! Overall, I strongly recommend this Co op branch to you!"
"Very nice store with friendly helpful staff, never ever seen even slightest sign of unwillingness or unhappiness to assist/help in any way, on the contrary - always friendly attitude with a smile on a face. All staff is good, but I was especially satisfied to get assisted by Chris, the young gentleman who is mature and professional a way ahead of his age."
"Newly opened and very convenient right in Aldgate. There's a good variety of things available to buy for breakfast, lunch or dinner. I've started coming here for breakfast since there's 2 self service Costa coffee machines plus a great election of pastries. Cheaper and better options than from an actual Costa. Lunch time is also pretty good with the usual lunchtime deals that includes red bull. The self service told are even easier to use than the usual ones at the supermarket. I love using these to pay and get out quickly."
