"I've been in here a few times and the old woman that serves at the till is awful. I get treated like a thief! It's definitely racial profiling. The area is a bit run down with lot's of addicts, because I'm mixed race then I guess I must be an addict and a thief. I've never stolen a thing in my life and I'm not an addict! It's RACIAL PROFILING!"
"Their home delivery service is bad. Staff are not trained to cater for the needs of old aged pensioners. I ordered 6x1.5 ltr Buxton Still Water (9 ltr/week) but got replacement of 6x500ml = 3 ltr will this last for a week ? The question is why the staff couldn't replaced the water with 2 x 5ltr to make it to nearest amount i requested ??? Well the Staff aren't trained for that. I ordered Honey Roasted Ham 400gr replacement 200gr, if the ham mentioned above is out of stock why can't the staff let me have 2x 200gr ham then adjust for the difference later dispite being charge 10% surcharge for the total amount spent in case the stocks aren't available. Website display is poor and not updated, they should mark out clearly when the item is "Out OF Stocks" then we could opted for something else. I have seen many similar complaint mentioned above regarding the Home Delivery but Coop management seems to ignore the customers. Finally Melon medley and Mango chunks stored in the fridge had gone bad 2 days before the expiry date."
"I’d like to commend the excellent location of this store, as well as the INTENSE vinegar taste of the exquisite salt and vinegar crisps. Additionally, once I left my wallet inside the store and it was promptly returned to me by a staff member. 5 star experience."
"No staff except for one woman Letitia always calling for assistance always ignored she has to keep leaving the tills to help a customer having trouble with self service. I was in queue today she must have called for help 10 times no one came. She deserved a medal or a pay rise."
"For good reason, we are expected to wear a mask and to try to keep our distance from other customers. The manager does not appreciate or respect our efforts to try and keep everyone safe. The Isle leading to the checkouts is very narrow as it is. The manager insists on adding racks with crisps and boxes of beers to the Isle, which makes it impossible for people not to have to brush by each other during their visit to the shop. I have complained to various members of the staff, almost on a daily basis. Instead of taking note of my complaint, the manager seems intent on adding even more goods to the Isle. 55 years ago, i worked there as a Saturday boy and after school. Mr Kingston was a brilliant manager and it was a very well run store. My mother and I have been life long customers since then. No more! Today was my last visit to the store and I shall never spend another penny with a company that doesn't respect the safety of its customers for the sake of selling a few more beers and packets of crisps. For almost two months, I have been complaining two or three times a week, to different members of staff, including the assistant manager. It seems the more i complain, the more determined this manager is on making the Isle even more narrow by adding more goods to it."
