"Quite pricey but a great day out for the family. The boat trip and steam train are wonderful and the guide on the boat was informative and funny. I'm holding back 1 star as it's marketed as a 3-part trip but the bus was just a standard bus back to Totnes with no attempt to make it special. I would definitely take visiting family and friends on this trip."
"I did the Round Robin trip with my family today and we all really enjoyed it. We started in Totnes (convenient parking right by the quay) and took the boat downriver to Dartmouth, taking about 90 minutes. It had been raining so the skipper used a squeegee to get the water off the outside benches which was much appreciated. We had an excellent commentary from one of the crew, and were particularly lucky as he pointed out a kingfisher, herons, egrets and seals. After catching the ferry to Kingswear we got the steam train to Paignton which took about 30mins. The scenery was lovely. There was very little commentary which was a shame however we enjoyed the journey. Our final section was the bus from Paignton back to Totnes with a very cheerful driver who told us about some of the areas we passed. Overall a lovely day which I highly recommend!"
"Super confused about the round Robin bus. Took the bus from torquay to totness and it was easy and the driver was very friendly. But getting the bus back from paington to torquay was very confusing and the bus did not seem to show up. We had to find another bus and pay for it despite already having paid for the round Robin. Oh well."
