"A good enjoyable couple of hours with the kids. By no means a zoo. It's rescued animals and not government funded so all the money from us visiting is very much needed. Staff were lovely and the talks informative. Children loved it as you can feed and pet some of the animals. I love the histories about the rescued animals."
"Really love this place every time we go. Its not grand or fancy like some animal parks or zoos but you can tell thought and love have gone into some of the attractions. The staff are always very polite, friendly and helpful. If I had to change anything then it would be lovely if there was something for toddlers to play on by the cafe. My 5 and 8 year old were fine but my 1 year old was a bit small to play on the climbing frame and swings. A little climbing frame and baby swing would be an excellent addition."
"Absolutely loved it. Considering that this is private and relies solely on the admission tickets, the owners and volunteers are doing a fantastic job. I wish I could do more to help or that someone with money would actually invest in them to help the facilities. The lemurs are the sweetest things and the meerkats can keep you entertained for hours."
"Visited two times now! Such a wonderful place and you see more each time! Got to see the animals being fed and they had such a variety of food and looked very happy and well looked after. Everywhere was clean, safe and lots of sanitiser around! We were offered animal feed for £1 which was amazing, have so many lovely pictures feeding the donkeys etc! They have baby lemurs now which are beyond adorable! Definitely recommend visiting, we'll definitely be coming again! Added a few pictures so you can see some of their beautiful park but definitely worth a visit :D"
"Lovely little place and it was great seeing all the animals. Unimpressed by the lady on the entrance though- first got my price wrong and then I asked to buy feed for the animals but she didn't give any so I ended up picking up my own food - turns out to be bird food for a lack of birds to be fed as she said no feeding caged birds which is understandable but having walked around the place twice before leaving as was doing the easter egg hunt. But we would have liked to feed the goats and deer. However, otherwise it was a lovely day and some great interactions with the Emu who was vocal towards us."
