"Study the timetable to get an early boat down from Totnes to Dartmouth - it's about and hour and a half cruise past some fantastic scenery. If you have the Round Robin ticket (we try to get this if possible) you can spend time in town before getting the ferry (included) across to Kingswear to pick up the steam train to Paignton, again a spin around the seaside town and then get the open top bus back to Totnes. The first time we did this we ended up a little sunkissed and with a fixed grin on our faces, what a day out."
