"Wouldn’t even give a 1 star! Avoid this place. Cheaply made sofas that cost a fortune. Sales people sell you a fake dream! Sofa creaks, ripped and lost shape after 3 months. Terrible service. I paid for the 5 year guarantee for them to refuse to fill the cushions and told me to go dunelm and get filler myself when I’ve paid for full cover. I’ve had 3 technicians come out and done nothing about the sofa, they say take it up with DFS, going round in circles. Absolute joke! Apparently they don’t refund after two weeks. Took my money and ran."
"DO NOT ORDER FROM DFS (unless you want to wait over 22 weeks for your delivery)!!! I ordered my sofa on the 20th of March before I moved into my house. My original (approx) delivery date was the 21st of June. I was expecting this to change as they do state that this may change and is only approximate. I did not however expect it to change 4 times and still not have received my order as we are now at the end of august (over 22 weeks since I ordered my sofa and 10 weeks since the original estimated arrival time). I contacted DFS to see if they could give me an idea if I will receive my order any time soon or if it was going to change again and they said they have contacted the supplier and would get back to me when they had an answer… surprise surprise they have not got back to me and it has been over a week. We have had a terrible experience and it’s not even over yet. We are still sat on pillows on the lounge floor. If we were told it would be the end of August at the time of ordering, we would have put something in place to use in the meantime but we weren’t - the date just changes as soon as it gets to that week- not once have we had an explanation as to why - just expected to put up with it! Shocking customer service."
"After ordering my Sofa with DFS I started the worst Customer Service experience ever my sofa took 6 months to arrive I myself was constantly chasing the Nottingham Store. After it eventually got delivered arrived with bent legs odd foam the service manager attended and confirmed legs faulty and incorrect foam and would contact me but after 3 weeks I had to phone and was told somebody would be contacting me a month passed again I had to ring it also takes 30 mins to answer phone at the call centre. Eventually I insisted on a replacement Sofa this came again faulty service manager came out again and confirmed but as a Dwell Sofa it would be handled differently even though I brought it from DFS he would update me again no update I again had to ring to say that it’s been sent to Dwell notes as a comfort issue a Joke as it’s not that it looks totally different i should be getting a call I have had two calls from somebody who leaves a voicemail message but no direct contact details so you again have to wait 30 mins for somebody to answer phone to get him to call you back I now been told Dwell will be contacting me I thought I brought from DFS and it was a Dwell brand Sofa now they have passed this onto Dwell. Still waiting for the call from Dwell Do not buy from DFS as it’s the worst Customer Service you will experience if things go wrong I now had to contact the Ombudsman to try and get somewhere with my sofa."
