"I don’t understand how this place is still open. It was filthy! Everywhere was dirty. Curtained changing room and old pound coin lockers. Showers were ice cold and only half of them worked and bathrooms flooded, I felt so dirty just bring in the water. Do not recommend!"
"Absolutely awful. Can't comment on the new pool because I can't go as it won't let me login to the booking system. I try to login and it says the email isn't on record even though I have countless emails from them! I try and create a new profile and it doesn't let me because it says it already has a profile under my name. I phone them over and over no answer. We make an email enquiry, they respond asking for some details, we respond the next day and we still haven't heard from them in over a year. I find it a joke that I have to drive to Hengrove to go swimming when there's a pool just down the road! As someone who sufferers from mental health difficulties and appreciates the benefits of swimming, this place has caused me so much stress and anxiety."
"After being closed for 6 months for refurbishment before the pandemic, then only opening in July 2021 I expected more from the refurbishment. Paint is still peeling from the ceiling, the lockers still need old pound coins, and the changing booths are still mostly missing their curtains. Also the floor was filthy, I took my shoes off at the door as instructed by the time I’d walked 2m to the lockers my feet were covered in gritty dirt. Finally there were so many people booked into the Lane swimming session that the lanes were crowded and keeping a safe distance from other swimmers was impossible. I’m very disappointed, I had high hopes."
"I love this pool. And the renovation job they did is just great! But sadly still no private showers in the toilet rooms. The water today was too hot. Not very nice feeling when is more than 20 degrees outside. Same thing with the shower. the water is was way too hot. Shame they didn't fit a thermostatic valve when the renovation job took place."
