"I got gifted a groupon voucher for the place for my birthday so me and my partner went for food. Staff were friendly and super helpful. We weren’t sure what was included for the deal but they explained it to us. Food was lovely, never had french cuisine properly before but it was nice to try something new. I had duck cakes as a starter, lamb with gnocchi for main and they brought out a special surprise with my baileys bread and butter pudding. Place was really easy to find using google maps too and a short walk from the train station."
"Absolutely love this place. Have been a few times and the food is always good. Adventurous and tasty, big portion sizes, varying menu that’s changed pretty often, and deals on 2 courses that make it super worth the money! The setting is very luxury and there’s always a good vibe, the staff are great, and wine is good value too! One of the best in Nottingham for good value for money, as a student, it was great for affordable but fancy celebrations."
"Had a really great meal here for my birthday. Everyone was happy with their food, my steak was cooked perfectly. Great wines too. The waiting staff were attentive and they even sent over a glass of prosecco as a present. Highly recommend! The one thing I would say is that they could do with a bit of background music for some ambience. Otherwise, can't fault it!"
"Overall very nice, we came with the Groupon and the servers are very polite and attentive. Ambiance is very pleasant Food came out quite fast, the salmon pate was nice and the other duck starter was okay. Very large portions for mains, which were good Pudding could have been a bit better, the sable tart was a little tasteless"
"Please don’t miss this restaurant if you are ever in Nottingham. My brother took my wife and I to lunch and the food and service was fantastic. Our server Selina and the wine waitress Shy are the nicest people you could ever meet. My brother loved the Lyonnaise soup followed by rump steak with Stilton sauce and cheese platter for desert. My wife enjoyed the brie fondue followed by Chicken supreme and profiteroles for desert. I had the same starter as my wife followed by duck and also profiteroles for desert. Everything was delicious, good portions and beautifully presented. House red, Michel Servin complimented everything. My wife also had a glass of white. Cappuccinos all round complimented desert. The ambiance is lovely and the view of King Street from above enchanting. Exceptional restaurant in every way. Staircase to enter from exchange walk is easy but is a few steps and no elevator."
