Welcome to Beech House - The Pigsty And The Greenhouse, a unique institution located in the picturesque village of Iron Acton, in Yate, Bristol. As a fully operational farm, we offer guests the chance to experience rural living in our beautifully restored Pigsty and Greenhouse lodgings.
The Pigsty is a self-catering unit that can accommodate up to four guests. This charming cottage boasts a rustic feel with exposed stone walls, wooden beams, and a cozy log burner. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to cook up delicious meals using fresh produce from our farm. There are two bedrooms, one with a king-size bed and the other with bunk beds, making it ideal for families or small groups.
In contrast, The Greenhouse is a beautifully designed, one bedroomed studio which is perfect for couples. This luxury, self-catering unit has a contemporarily designed open-plan living space and kitchen area, with stunning views overlooking the gardens and the stunning countryside beyond.
Guests can also explore our working farm where we rear Berkshire pigs, cows and sheep. They can take a stroll through the gardens, take a dip in our outdoor pool or relax in our hot tub.
We pride ourselves on our commitment to sustainability and promoting a healthy lifestyle. We grow fresh, organic produce, do not use pesticides, and encourage guests to explore the great outdoors by providing bicycles, fishing rods, and walking routes.

"Clean house and good location. However host was not helpful at all, as the heating was not working, although i have tried to communicate with her, I received no reply back. Which meant that two nights me and my partner stayed we had no heating. The house was really cold. I highly do not recommend this house to stay as if there is a problem there will be no help. We called the host several times and messaged but no response."
