"After the technician had finished the work, he took the time to explain what he had done and showed me the results. He was very patient and answered all my questions, which made me feel more confident about the work that had been done. He also provided me with some useful tips for maintaining my plumbing system, which I found very helpful."
"Once I had selected the option that I felt was best, the technician got to work. He worked carefully and efficiently, and he was able to remove the clog without causing any damage to my pipes or fixtures. He also made sure to thoroughly clean up the area once he was finished."
"I contacted the company for a plumbing emergency, and they were able to schedule a technician to come out to my house within the hour. The technician was prompt, professional, and knowledgeable. He quickly identified the issue and provided me with a clear explanation of what needed to be done to fix it. He also provided me with a detailed estimate for the work, which I appreciated."
"Highly recommend Josh for plumbing work! I needed a new heater installed, got a reasonably priced, timely, clean and professional job and will definitely be back in touch for future works! Thanks again!"
"A very disappointing conclusion. We first employed Josh to fit a splitter tap in our back garden. He was friendly, thorough, professional, and quoted a reasonable price. The work was done to a good standard. Based on this positive experience we chose to employ Josh to resolve a long standing leak with our shower cubicle. After a number of investigations, Josh seemed to find the source of the leak. We had the entire enclosure ripped out and rebuilt, the leaking pipework replaced, and a new shower installed. It was an expensive job, but we thought it was worth it. We also got Josh to install some new radiators shortly after. We even recommended Josh to our neighbours to install a new bathroom. A few months later however, the shower started leaking into our downstairs kitchen. The water was coming through the light fittings, presenting a dangerous electrical risk. We contacted Josh immediately, but got no response. We ended up having to write a formal complaint letter. Josh did eventually contact us, claiming his phone hadn’t been working and he hadn’t received our recent messages. He came back and investigated, but couldn’t find the source of the problem. Josh’s colleague re-sealed the shower tray, saying this might be the issue. The leak got worse, with water pouring through the ceiling downstairs. Needless to say, we couldn’t use the shower during this period and were all having to have baths instead, which during a cost of living crisis wasn’t ideal. Josh came back and this time guessed that the tile grout might have failed. By this time, it was approaching Christmas, and we were due to have family visiting, meaning we were especially keen to resolve the problem as we knew our guests would struggle with having to use the bath (rolltop with no surround or handles). We explained this to Josh over message, and he came and cut out a section of the shower cubicle back wall. He left the area to dry out, as the leak had made the floorboards and plasterwork wet. Josh said he would come back to replace the section and re-seal it the following week. Unfortunately, around this time one of our parents became gravely ill. Having not heard back from Josh, we contacted him multiple times to chase, explaining that with our difficult family situation it was the last thing we needed to have an unusable shower. When we didn’t hear back, we issued a final formal complaint, and explained that if Josh didn’t resolve the situation we would have to seek the services of an alternative plumber and to charge him for the costs of reparation. We have heard nothing since. A month later, having suffered bereavement, we finally managed to find an alternative plumber to come and finish the work. Thankfully, we’ve had no further issues with the shower. We contacted Josh reminding him of our previous final complaint, and sending him the invoice for the costs of the repair. To no great surprise, we have not received a response. Today, one of the radiators Josh installed started leaking. We’re worried about the quality of the work and what other costs we may now incur to fix other issues caused by poor workmanship. Overall we’ve been incredibly disappointed and let down by Josh and his company. Having seemed so friendly and professional at first, when issues started arising this became no longer the case. We have been left over £2000 out of pocket for what had started off as a small leak, that became much worse after Josh’s work and was never resolved by him. We offered multiple chances to resolve the situation amicably, but ultimately these weren’t taken. We’re sharing this story not out of malice, but in the hope that others can avoid a similar situation. Josh, if you’re seeing this message, we deeply hope it has all been a misunderstanding and we’re open to a constructive discussion about how to bring the matter to a conclusion."
