"Our integrated NEFF dishwasher stopped working in mid-December after about 12 years . The engineer arrived on time, diagnosed the problem and said that a replacement control board was required. This was duly ordered and 17 days later the engineer returned as agreed and effected the repair, the delay being attributable to the Christmas holidays and the postal and rail strikes. Only one small issue; when the engineer left he did not take the u/s control board with him, so now I have to book a slot at the local tip to dispose of it."
"Our engineer arrived on time, at the beginning of the texted time slot. (I'm pleased they use SMS as I've had to block unknown calls on my phone.) He tried everything, but the job required replacement parts; which he ordered and then left, saying it should take three working days to get the parts and that they would be in touch. I can't fault the service; just a shame it couldn't be fixed. One working day later, I heard from D&G, saying that the oven could not be repaired and that we could choose a replacement, from the attached list. I'll cover that in the next review."
"The Engineer was punctual and polite . He fixed the problem with my freezer, but It would have been better if I'd known in advance that he needed me to supply the cloths to soak up the water from the freezer. I hope that the repair will be long-lasting. It is too soon to know. He kindly replaced the drawers in the freezer when he'd finished. Everythimng ws near t and tidy when he left."
"When I booked this appointment for my Neff integrated washing machine I was assured that 9/10 machines were able to be repaired and that they held the spares in their vans so would mostly be able to deal with it on the spot etc. HOWEVER, it was only AFTER I had confirmed and booked the call out for a £103, non refundable, call out charge that the multiple, and in my view unreasonable caveats started to be sent out to me - It started to feel like every step of the way they wanted the call out fee but tried as much as possible to avoid actually doing any repairs etc - including, 1. if it was integrated (it is) then they couldn't guarantee getting it out to see it (this was not asked before the appointment was booked), 2. They needed guaranteed parking, and you have to pay it 3. You have to pay as soon as they arrive - even before they look at the machine 4. The person who attended my call out then informed me, just as he was going to take a look at the machine that he had a medical condition which meant he might not be able to get the machine back into position (I asked him why did he do such a job then?! if he wasn't capable of it!?) 5. He left saying that he knew what it was but thought it might not be worth getting the parts (he would have had to come back and repair it within the £103 fee already paid - felt like he didn't really want to do that. 6. Their repairs are ONLY covered for 90 days after the work has been completed - most reputable firms offer 1 year. 7. In the booking process I was led to believe that they had parts on their vans - they clearly don't so he had to find out what the parts would cost. 8. I had to chase the next day to get the quote - came though as a text with a figure - no explanation of what that cost was for re what parts etc - so no way of comparing to another supplier and no idea of timing when the parts would be available. All in all, a deeply unsatisfactory service with an over blown promise and just hot air behind it DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE!!!! I should have cancelled the call out before they came as my concerns were raised after they sent their terms and conditions after booking!"
"Final call-out on the saga of playing up John Lewis Fridge Freezer, which, sadly, after 12 years, needs now to be replaced. We Repair would have replaced the temp control and motherboard, but, the engineer discovered that the gas was only at 50%, which means there is a leak, not repairable, so need to replace. We Repair are definitely the best outfit all round from phone support to the brilliant engineer I've ever had to deal with. Highly recommend you ask for them, if you have a choice. Cannot fault the service from We Repair (via D&G). All aspects of the service are really good, from phone support at customer services, timely updates to the last 30 minutes prior to arrival of engineer, to the acutal knowledge and capabilities of the engineer to identify and sort out the issue with our Fridge / Freezer. Gave me some useful tips on general maintenance too. Responsive, Realiable and Reassuringly adept at Repair."
