"I was disappointed with my visit here but not due to anything actually linked to the Clinic, I was lied to by my doctors and told this was going to help me get diagnosed with something neurodivergent related, it was actually an examination to determine if I was mentally fit.. The specialists are professional, warm and welcoming, they took time to explain everything to me and that this was not linked in anyway to me getting diagnosed with a neurodiversity, as disappointed as I was with this i couldn't fault the clinic in anyway, one member of staff on reception wasn't very approachable but I just asked to speak to someone else."

"Felt the need to write this after seeing some of the other reviews on here. I've been using Gabalfa for around a year now. Spectrum related disorders requiring psych and medication. The staff have always been polite, professional and communicative. This experience has been fairly typical of all the other mental health clinics I've been using since childhood. Here are some lessons other reviewers should take to heart. 1. I have never had an issue here. That is because respect works both ways. ANYWHERE you go, just try and keep it polite ok? These staff members are often overworked to a degree you can't possibly comprehend unless you've worked in mental health services. 2. There is a very limited amount that any mental health clinic can do in short notice. It is not personal. Please TRY and communicate any issues that have arisen before they get to an inferno point. 3. The people here are professional workers. They are paid to assist with our conditions and the management of these conditions. They are not paid to be our friends. It is not personal that conversations are interrupted or that a doctor can't suddenly prescribe a new medication for a new sudden flare up of symptoms based on a phone call. The staff are not paid or trained to be councillors over the phone."

"Absolutely disgusting. Their lack of care is seriously astonishing. This place needs to be further investigated as I do not know how the NHS can fund a place in which they completely dismiss the patients needs and basically leave them in the dirt when their at their worst."

"I post with the full knowledge of the limitations of mental health services, the most underfunded of an chronically underfunded health service. When I have needed an appointment, they have got me one. Dr Cutinha is always supportive and the reception staff and patient and friendly, evening when I mess up my appointments. When I had a CPN they did their best with the little resources they had. I hope the mental health services will be properly funded so they can do more."

"These people have absolutely no interest in treating their patients or about the wellbeing of patients. obnoxious beyond the belief especially one particular nurse the one with short blond hair who looks about 70 and dresses like she’s in her 20’s, absolutely vile woman who has no interest or care for her patients what so ever, who I have just reported to the Police and are now eager to speak to this awful woman because of her total lack of duty and care. This clinic must have so much blood on their hands! They are not there to help but just to earn a monthly wage. This place should be closed down immediately and investigated fully. Stay well clear of this clinic!"
