"Staff is doing their best to attend patients' needs. Parking can be improved. Attended for physio assessment and the physiotherapist was kind and patient. I have also asked few questions regarding tinnitus as he himself suffering from the same."
"I feel very disheartened by the staff in the hospital. I have always stuck up for them and felt sorry for them but having experienced this last week with mum in a critical stage the doctor has been arrogant and not even willing to do anything, so short staffed. They have lost test results and instructions as mum has been moved 4 times you would think going digital this wouldn’t happen but it’s worse than having the paper logs in my opinion. I can’t say how disappointed I am with the NHS and the level of care and affection has gone down the drain. It’s like a bunch of robots caring for my mum in there."
"It was the night before Christmas Eve. My GP had called and said my blood test was extremely low for haemoglobin. I was very breathless and feeling really dizzy. I got a friend to drop me at A&E about 7.30. I got to reception and was registered within 5 minutes. The waiting area was packed and had to search for a seat. By 9pm I went into triage room where nurse let me lie on examination couch. Then I was asked to sit back in waiting area. By 10pm I was taken through to majors and given a trolley in a glass door cubicle. I received 2 bags of blood overnight. All the staff were professional and really friendly. I was offered a sandwich, tea, coffee and biscuits. In the morning I was offered more drinks and breakfast cereal. I was moved to a ward where I'd missed ordering lunch so again the staff fetched me a sandwich. Can't fault the LRI and what they do under such pressures. Thanks so much. Listening to other people some were definitely not emergencies."
"Worst thinking i came to uk by seeing this kind of place I never ever throught developed countries hospitals will have this kind of waiting period. Instead of improving your currency better improve your hospital facilities ."
"incredibly slow. my partner waited nearly 6 hours to be seen, got moved to a different area and waited for another 2 hours. ended up leaving without being seen as it’s so slow. staff don’t care, shrug their shoulders when you ask them how long it’s going to take. they moan about being understaffed, yet staff just stand around talking instead of doing their jobs. they all need to pull their fingers out and actually get to work, maybe then you wouldn’t have people worrying and in pain for hours on end. you’re not understaffed, you’re just lazy."
