"The two Indian women need training also their English accent is very hard to understand General practitioner E .. I walked in they told me to call in to book a appointment No one ever answer the phone…"
"Got referred here as doctor's surgery had no appointments. The GP seemed unsure when carrying out the check, which was not assuring. The communication between the pharmacy and doctor is a disaster. I kept being sent back and forth like a messenger...tell the pharmacist to check this, then the pharmacist saying tell the GP to sign this then the GP saying that it's not my problem and tell the pharmacy to do it. It's so petty. If you're offered an appointment here- just avoid it."
"Receptionists are so fabulously terrible they almost make it an art form. Rude, inept, incompetent, and WILDLY racist. Was sat opposite a tremendous bigot of a "Karen" for our entire wait to see a doctor who twice uttered the phrase "well his name is Dr Patel so I assume he speaks your language" in a vile tone of voice, without actually bothering to check what that language was, if the doctor did actual speak it, or even attempting to use an interpreter sheet or... you know, anything a competent person would do. This woman shouldn't be allowed within 100 feet of a doctor's surgery let alone to work in one. Ironically she was sat in front of a "Stop Abuse Of NHS Staff" sign without the slightest comprehension that she was probably single-handedly responsible for 30% of the ill-will towards the NHS in this country. Staff give wildly different advice for different people - masks are mandatory for some people but not others at random. I assume this is to let them feel powerful I thank every god, diety, spirit and magical elf that this isn't my local GP as I feel like if I even tried to discuss mental health issues here I would end up killing myself in the lobby while someone scolded me for bleeding on their floor. If you are in serious medical need, may I suggest some positive alternatives to Merlyn Vaz centre: 1. Positive Thoughts 2. Shamanism 3. Rubbing a toad on the afflicted area 4. Witchcraft 5. Rolling around in mud until completely coated, sticking the contents of an un-emptied vacuum cleaner to yourself, and checking in with a local vet."
"The doctor I saw for my 16 month old daughters ear infection prescribed amoxicillin (strange choice for a outter ear infection) then called me halfway to the pharmacy saying sorry she prescribed the wrong thing… she then didn’t prescribe anything but said to buy an over the counter ear spray.. which isn’t licensed for children under 12! Even the pharmacist was confused, & after speaking again to the doctor who said it’s okay, doctors bend the rules but she will prescribe the amoxicillin again? I will not be using a ear spray on a 16 month old. Terrible service, upon calling me back she wondered why I had concerns about her service? Thank god for that pharmacist. Avoid merlyn vaz if able."
"This place is terrible. There's no consistency with the doctors you see. If you have mental health issues you'll be dealing with a multitude of different people and each one won't know a thing about you because they obviously don't read your info. Reception are USELESS. They hardly answer the phone and when they do they can't be bothered. I was on hold for 14 minutes today when they cut me off. Called back again and was placed in 7th place to speak to someone. As I type this I've been on hold for 13 minutes. Sort your service out Merlyn Vaz because this is a disgusting way to treat patients."
