"I called for a quote the day before our trip and was told it would be £35.... I repeated the amount to make sure it was correct then booked the taxi... when we got dropped of the driver asked for £76!!! When I challenged him he said it’s on the meter for the journey you made! I explained I was quoted but he wasn’t listening.. I called the next day to complain and was told I must if misheard!! I definitely didn’t... rip-off I always use Uber now!! So much better"
"Most ridiculous taxi service ever Had a taxi today and was charged £29 from Lawrence Weston to fishponds which was a rip off , called again to find out if that was there price or the driver trying to make a quick buck on me, operator did not have a clue and tried to first quote me a price of £200 lol Then spoke with another operator who said it was £90 then £45 then £35 lol When I told him I had been in there taxi today they said they never had any record of this !!and said the cheapest price was £30 lol Would never use again they said they were based in Easton and then changed there mind and said they were in town centre They don't have a clue"
