"Would give zero stars if that was possible. Was ringing for a week to urgently get a prescription, number was either engaged or playing infuriating "music" on a loop, then the statement "your call is important to us", uhuh! Obviously. Eventually went to the place to find a cryptic notice on the door basically to deter the customers, went in anyway to find the pharmacist on a personal call. He pretty much ignored me but eventually felt the weight of my stare and begrudgingly hung up his call and grunted at me. When I asked to pick up my prescription he questioned every item and then said he didn't have the stock and I would have to contact my GP to sort out an emergency prescription . I said this is difficult as my GP also appears to be on a personal call as I can't get through. He shrugged and said it was my problem. Another member of staff came along and rescued the "pharmacist" from doing his job and gave me some information and advice on how to get an emergency prescription to tide me over until their "pharmacist" had got his act together . The short version is I was sent elsewhere, which is where I shall be going in future anyway . Some of the staff are helpful but the "pharmacist" needs to go on an intensive decade long course on how to interact with customers. As others have mentioned aswell, the pharmacy is rarely open and often doesn't have the stock to fulfill your prescription . Everyone would be better off considering going to a more well known pharmacy . As a self employed person I am tempted to bill them for all the wasted hours and expensive phone bills I have had trying to renew or collect a prescription. I was under the impression this was the main purpose of a pharmacy and yet it seems bewildering to them every time I manage to establish contact with them! Maybe management could explain the pharmacist role to the pharmacist. In short I would say, if you have the option to go somewhere else, go somewhere else. You will only find despair and disappointment at this place and end up having to go to a real pharmacy to get the medication you need. This has made my blood pressure go through the roof, but I have to go somewhere else to get the appropriate medication as Jhoots DONT HAVE IT! Minus 5 stars"
"Everytime i go to pick up my prrscription the shop is shut with a sign saying shut due to no staff available."
"Can only say dont bother. Better off to go elsewhere. Sign on door said open 10 til 12 due to covid sickness. By 10.16. Man banged on door. Girl came out. Obviously knew we were all stood in the cold Sorry no pharmacist. (Why not tell us before). Said she would ring (never did).but would definitely be closing g at 12. On return11.15 as needed urgent prescription. Still had to stand in cold as only allow one at a time. Will never return to this chemist."
"Went simply to get some stronger painkillers 12:30pm 25/10/2021 as I've had a dental/migraine issue last few days insanely painful. Spoke to GP and they recommended to pop to local pharmacy to get something stronger till I see dentist on Friday..Asked so many questions and they even said they'd ring my GP. Most unhelpful and felt vilified asking for see what was available. Went to pharmacy in Kingswood and got help straight away without them threatening to ring my GP or giving me the 3rd degree telling me what pain I was feeling. Its laughable. Absolute joke."
"Nice and friendly pharmacy.not very big but got what you need plus hair stuff and toiletries and gift sets"
