"The hotel is located in a perfect area of Bath, almost in a city centre but in a very quiet street. The room design is pretty, however, it needs some renovation and looks very used. The carpets had big burns on it and the room had a dampness smell. I booked the Premium room and on the website it clearly says that bathrobes and slippers included. When none of this was found in the room, I ado the administrator to provide items, he responded they never provide bathrobes but he can give me slippers. It’s not that big of an issue, but if they never provide the bathrobes, this information needs to be removed from the website. We were staying on the NYE night and the elevator wasn’t working. I have some mobility issues, so found this challenging. The breakfast choice was very poor, but can’t blame the staff service, everyone in the restaurant was nice and helpful. Overall, we paid £300 for the night and the hotel wasn’t worth it."
"Myself and my daughters booked for an afternoon tea, lovely range of teas offered, the food was varied and delicious and enough for us all, we weren't rushed at all, in fact we were there just over 2 hours. The restaurant area was well decorated, comfortable, however very little Christmas decoration especially as we went on the 21st of Dec. The toilets were very nice, clean and equipped with lovely toiletries, however, these were downstairs so plz check if taking someone with mobility issues. All in all we would go again, the food, service & location was excellent."
"Great location. Lovely staff. Gorgeous room. We had one of the rooms in the annexe building, on the lower ground. The room was lovely and had the bonus of a bath. Although lower ground we had a window with a view over the garden which was lovely. The only tiny bit of feedback I’d give is please give the young lad at breakfast some help. It was busy and he was rushed off his feet. He was lovely and so helpful but he needed another pair of hands!"
"A very nice and well decorated room with all the amenities, including a kettle, decent TV, etc. Even had nice extras like a hair dryer and various bathroom bits. The room service was exceptional, and the receptionists were all great. However, there were several things that could be improved, behind the TV cabinet and behind the bedside tables were absolutely filthy and caked in dust, the room temperature control was next to useless and barely functioned, the shower water pressure was very weak, the bed was extremely firm and not very comfortable. I would love to come back and stay again, but for a supposed 4* establishment, it could do with improvements."
"I wholeheartedly recommend this spot and will book again as soon as I can! I travel very often for work and I have to say, this was some of the kindest hotel staff I have ever encountered! They were so attentive and obviously cared that our stay was as comfortable as they could make it. The room was “cozy,” (read: the bathroom was TINY) but in truth, it was a typical size for European standards, and they made sure it was a well appointed use of the space. The location is incredible for walking around Bath, the space was quiet and restful, but the real treasure is the INCREDIBLE breakfast that came with our reservation! It was beautifully made and absolutely delicious. Thank you Henrietta House! We will be back!"
