"In my view, if you want to purchase a property, I strongly strongly recommend you NOT to choose CTW Dartford. My experience with CTW 1. Very unprofessional 2. No timely responses 3. Blame on seller solicitor/ Mortgage Company/ Mortgage broker 4. Spent 9 months unnecessarily waiting on a property with title issues, if I had chosen a experienced conveyancing company, at-least I would have saved time, money and would have been a hassle free process, but with CTW - Unfortunately I had to go through all non-sense. 5. Your emails will be responded after 2/3 days 6. Requires a lot of followup emails/calls, your calls will never be answered by your conveyancer 7. Rude behaviour 8. Needs a lot of escalation for a simple task to be completed At last I ended up paying for poor service around 1000£, for a property which I was unable to purchase and I spent March 2022 to Nov 2022 due to the delays and irresponsive behaviour of CTW. Basically they don't care about your purchase. Better stay away from CTW."
"The worst experience of my life. Avoid at all costs. One star is overly generous. Hopeless from start to not quite finish. Terrible communication throughout - my assigned conveyancer (woefully incompetent, never answered the phone) left the firm just as exchange of contracts was taking place. This was not communicated to me formally, nor a named replacement offered. Now those I have dealt with are on leave and my exchange of contracts is in limbo with no firm answer this will take place. When running around in the snow to submit last minute documentation they wouldn't even let me step into the lobby. Just abysmal."
"Run while you can! Horrendous experience all round and would avoid if possible. Communication was nonexistent and they were very slow to respond on matters. Impossible to contact, unresponsive, incredibly poor attention to details. I had to do half of their job myself. Lois couldn't get documents she needed to exchange and complete. On the day of Exchange, I had to call to Home ground to obtain much needed document. I had to chase everything. Lois from Dartford branch was never bothered of anything. I had to request a completion statement because she was never bothered to email one to me. After we completed our flat sale, we did not have where to go, because the funds for property purchase were released very last minute. Stress and nothing else. Avoid avoid avoid! Incompetent, rude and unprofessional. The sale of flat was so horrible experience. Cost me so many tears and nerves. I am so glad I did not choose them to act on the property purchase matter. Run and never look back!"
"Highly recommend Cook Taylor Woodhouse. Joe O'Hara managed my house move, he was truly wonderful, and worked tirelessly and effectively on both my sale and purchase. I found him highly competent and his work is very thorough and comprehensive. I was impressed with CTW as they work methodically through the different parts of the case which ensures that nothing is missed, and I found that Joe was always ahead of the other solicitors in my chain, and he pushed the moves through more quickly. Joe is lovely to work with, he is very calm and reassuring, there were a number of bumps in the road due to issues in other parts of the chain, and on occasions I was very upset - Joe was always so helpful and supportive and maintains good humour, he ensured that everything was sorted out, which I appreciated. Jess and Sinead also worked on my case - they were also so wonderful to me, they worked very quickly and efficiently, and always kept me and the other parties up to date with all developments. Thank you Joe and everyone at CTW, I really love my new home!"
"If I could give 0 stars I would. To put in context how inept, arrogant, and rude they are, our estate agents have blacklisted them and now will not accept an offer on any property where they are representing either the buyers or sellers. First they generally took over a week to respond to emails from my solicitor, then they asked for the same documents 4/5 times despite them either already having them or them not existing, when my estate agents complained about the solicitor they then refused to talk to my estate agent for the remainder of the transaction! To cap it all off, on the day of exchange (two week later than everybody in the chain wanted) they didn't release the contract until 4 despite everything being ready by 9am. They then didn't answer their phone until 2 minutes before the release was up. The worst of the worst, my solicitor apologised to me and felt the need to say that they are the worst solicitors he's ever dealt with and even my buyers felt the need to apologise to me for the behaviour of these guys. Absolutely awful, rude, and sub-standard service - avoid them like the plague."
