"You need to get your alarm sorted! Starting from 17:30 It goes off for hours driving all street mad… it’s 22.16 now and still going!!! sometimes it goes off at 2 at night and doesn’t stop for hours. Will I and my little one will be able to sleep tonight? Not sure… I would appreciate if the management looked into this issue as it seems to be re occurring problem."
"I was unfortunately, due to a police road closure, not back before they arrived at my house - they wouldnt wait a few minutes for me to get home. Several hundred pounds worth of furniture for charity and couldnt possibly wait to collect it. Should have gone elsewhere. Dont book so many collections in one day if you leave no time for delays."
"My sister went into the shop seen a sofa she liked however it was waiting to be PAAT tested. She asked if a holding deposit could be put down however they said no. She called up on Tuesday as they told her to do so and said it passed the PAAT test and she could have it. I went in there and it had a hold sticker with her name on it. She went up Wednesday to pay for it and book a delivery however they had given it to someone else.manager didn't seem to care and offered her a red sofa instead. No sorry or anything. Terrible customer service, I won't be buying anything in here again in the future!!"
"Don't waste your time trying to donate to BHF. Collection workers didn't give us any notice, after they promised a call 30 mins beforehand. Then said they would only wait 5 mins for us to run home, after which they wouldn't take our sofa because the batch id had washed off the fire label. Something not mentioned on the website. Decent sofa now going free or to the tip, nice one."
"Much to the same experience as other reviewers I had a disappointing experience when donating furniture. Impolite and insolent collection guys who refused to take a perfectly good chest of drawers because of a tiny mark (about the size of a 5p coin) and stated "nobody will buy that in that condition". Surely nobody buying furniture from a charity shop is expecting it to be in pristine fresh out of the box condition. I suspect, because access to my property is down a set of steep steps they were too lazy to attempt to carry it up. As a result a perfectly good chest of drawers has ended up in the skip."
