"My whole experience with this Bedminster store was very challenging. I found it exceptionally difficult to have a conversation with the manager about my current dishwasher set at home. The conversation was needed In order to get a similar set up from their service. From each interaction with the manager I was left feeling I lacked intelligence and was a time waster, leaving me feel belittled. The manager had a very aggressive and condescending manner on the phone: rushing the conversations and telling me he knew what was needed before putting the phone down. He insinuated he knew my dishwasher set up better than me despite him never being in my home. They did not arrive on the day they had planned: stating they had the wrong house number written down. Instead of calling me to inform of their difficulties finding our property they called the landlord and got no answer so they gave up trying. We had to chase them at 4.30pm asking why they had not yet turned up: this was after waiting in all afternoon. The managers tone of voice was softer at this time. When they arrived the following day: Low and behold all my concerns which I was discussing with the manager on the phone came true. They did nothing about it at the time and continued to put the dishwasher in: I felt silenced so allowed the work to continue. The one man who fitted the the dishwasher had a similar attitude which at a guess would be men know best. I felt my requests were too much and I was not listened to despite me trying in a very polite manner. He advised he didn’t have time to complete the work to a visually satisfying manner: advising he had already gone above and beyond his work remit (highly doubtful). He did however reassure me if he had more time he would complete the small alterations requested of him but he had another job to attend. He then continued to stand in my kitchen and chat about himself and his life from a child to adulthood despite me not knowing him. If you value your time and sense of self go elsewhere for your electrical goods."
"Condescending and patronising in the way they handle their customers' feedback. Stubborn and bossy. Customers are wrong and they are always right. They are much more cheerful and cooperative when they sell the machine. One stop service. Poor customer service. Terrible."
"Really disappointed with customer service. When I called in the first instance the person I spoke to was short tempered & condescending (annoyed I didn't know the difference between an oven and cooker and made me feel really small). Spoke with them today re update and much the same, very hot headed when I had just asked for an update & had some queries. Can see from other reviews people have felt similarly. Would suggest another service - many like it in Bristol and with much better customer service."
"Bought a cooker from here last week and it was very well priced and they were able to fit it the very next day. Communication was great and everyone we spoke to was lovely. The whole thing went smoothly. Definitely worth looking at for your next appliance purchase."
"An independent electrical business that has been here a long time since 1970. About 2 years ago. One needed a new cooker and hob for a kitchen after the Council fitted a new kitchen. Had to be fitted in both cases not standalone. No more bending down. Didn’t find what one wanted in the usual places or too expensive. A brainwave was to use a search, so on Bing brought me to Euronics in the results. Turns out they were an association of independent electrical and electronic stores. Some names I recognised but interestingly Eddy’s Domestic Appliances featured as an Euronics member store. Further research led me to Belling and having had a microwave by them before and I had used a Baby Belling myself at school, sold especially as the last British manufacturer of its kind. The hob one wanted, check and importantly the oven was only available at an Euronics member store. So around we went. So, refreshing, numerous items neatly arranged on display in rows or mounted on both sides but easy to get through the store. Service was simplicity itself and I had the Belling catalogue numbers and details ready. Both items confirmed and ordered for delivery only and soon delivered in their sealed polystyrene crates. Later installed by Council contractors and have worked perfectly ever since. So much easier and efficient. Service from Eddy’s was fuss free. No sense that anyone was trying to pounce on you to sell you something as soon as you walked in or not something you wanted. It has been quite a while since I bought something from an independent electrical and electronic store. The whole process was so effortless and fuss free and so impressed by the range of items an Euronics member store stocks from the Euronics website. The prices were a revelation. Certainly not as expensive as you might think especially for something British designed, engineered and manufactured. They also do servicing and spares too. In future for anything electrical, this family business would be my and Mummy’s first choice to visit! My highest recommendation!"
