"Never any parking spaces, you need to arrive at least half an hour early for your appointment so you have time to hunt for a space. Been a few times in the past year and found it to be unclean looking for hospital standards. Staff are lovely and helpful though."
"Although the nhs are back logged with wait times. They still manage to provide impeccable service and do keep the facilities clean. That's a bonus"
"I arrived at a&e yesterday at 5:30pm. At 00:15am I asked receptionist how much longer I was told 'several hours'. I'm sitting there in significant pain with no pain killers, no food etc. Babies just left in pain waiting more than 5 hours to be seen Why as tax payers are we standing by and letting this happen, why are we accepting that this is normal and ok? If we were paying private would we accept? We could get private cheaper than what we pay via taxes!!!! Absolute disgrace Sooner we privatise the NHS the better"
"Infection control is a joke. Medical staff with masks down round their chins. Going between patients without sanitising their hands, or putting on new gloves. Saw this regularly in ICU and HDU. The very same staff having the cheek to ask visitors to wear the blue masks provided, even when the visitors are wearing brand new out of the packets PP3. Nurse station desks unattended in ICU and HDU. Food is not fit to feed to dogs.....dry tastelessness and usually cold."
"I had the misfortune to be ill last month and was taken into the ENT dept - mainly for a good slap due to the nonsense in my head (joke). The staff were ultra friendly and kind. The food was fab and the constant attention was terrific - cannot complain at all. Facilities were spotless and the doctors were kind and compassionate. I do not envy their job, but well done staff of Crosshouse Hospital - you made my stay a great comfort in a difficult time. Cannot praise them enough."
