Their seafood selection is top-notch and budget-friendly, with a lot of it being MSC certified, ensuring sustainable fishing practices. The bakery is also a standout, with freshly baked croissants, bread, and other treats. The store is clean, staff are friendly, and they even have a bottle recycling program. However, I was disappointed to see that they no longer offer incentives for bottle recycling, even though they stated that the trial was successful. The lack of quality meat-free and plant-based options is also a drawback, as their main competitor offers more variety in this area. Additionally, there are often too many shopping trolleys in the trolleys return area, blocking walkways. I can't stress enough how much more convenient it would be for shoppers if the store implemented a self-checkout option. It's frustrating to get stuck in a long line when all you need is to quickly purchase a few items. With the option of self-checkout, customers can avoid these long wait times and enjoy a more efficient and stress-free shopping experience. Overall, Lidl is a great option for your grocery needs, but they could improve in a few areas."
