"Asda offers a great range of produce and store cupboard essentials, and their online delivery service is reliable. However, during my recent visit, I discovered that the doors between the cafe and the second floor where clothing, electronics, and homewares are located were permanently closed. This decision significantly inconveniences customers who enter via the cafe with the express intention of shopping for these particular goods and forces them to walk the entire length of the store to get to the escalators and till points. Additionally, after paying for goods, Asda blocks many ways back to the cafe. I urge Asda to reconsider this decision and make it easier for customers to move around the store."
"This was the final stop of the night for me and my 30 weeks pregnant partner on our fruitless search to get our gas card topped up at 11.30pm. Their colleagues in Asda Blantyre (who were absolutely useless) advised us that they should be able to do it in this store. Bearing in mind that we're from East Kilbride, my partner is heavily pregnant, and it was a cold winter's evening, we went there in good faith that it would be sorted after running about for ages trying to get our meter topped up. We got in and approached a member of staff to ask if they could serve us on the paypoint so we could get our gas card topped up. They advised us that the paypoint is switched off at 9pm and they were unsure why their colleagues in Blantyre had told us to go there. This is especially frustrating as the paypoint website lists them as being a 24 hour paypoint. I asked if there was any managers about who might be able to "switch it back on" to be told there wasn't. My heavily pregnant partner is now crying in bed about how she's cold and nobody wanted to help. Thanks, Asda. "Happy to help" is what the signs on the door say, clearly not!! Edit: in response to the Asda query below, the colleague who helped us was a young man by the front door with brown hair."
"Worst customer service desk I've came across, literally blame everyone else for a problem rather than trying to resolve with solutions or getting a manager to help with a refund on a gift card I was requesting where the code was unreadable. £20 down because of it and now over the refund date."
"Please don't visit this store on a Sunday morning if you're disabled or sick and need help. No tills open and problems with self serve with customers losing patience. Red lights at 4 other self serves. Plenty of staff stacking but no-one had the initiative to ask one to go on a till! No-one cares. This is why it's empty at 8am on a Sunday morn. After 2 heart attacks i thought I was having another. Took me 45 mins to serve myself. Twice I had a lengthy wait for assistance as the light flashed red. How frustrating for able-bodied customers never mind the elderly and disabled. I'll stick to stores that want to serve customers. Edit... 2 members of staff were aware! They'll do anything but open up a till."
"One of the biggest Asda Store with lots of facilities ( Photo Cake Machines , Hot daily and rotisseries, Pizza Counter , bakery, Photo Booth, Instant Photo Print , Travel money service , ATM cash machines etc ) it also accommodate a huge café and restaurant . Over all surely you are going to find almost everything what you are looking for if not maybe an alternative. A big bonus there is plenty of parking space here so there is no need to worry and wheelchair access is relatively easy as well . The store is clean and well Organised, shelves are always neat tidy and full of products easy to navigate and find what you’re looking for . Staff on site are very knowledgeable friendly and helpful ."
