"The park is cultivated. A canal and a river flow through the park, ducks and swans swim. In the center of the park there is a mosaic created by children from different schools in honor of salt mining in the city. After all, the city was famous for its salt mining"
"I've given this 5 stars because it's just a park there is nothing there apart from a fenced off boat which is seating if you know what I mean.but plenty of benches to sit on lots of grass if you can't.We go there now and then sit on a bench seat and eat a bag of chips and sometimes feed the ducks with a bag of seed.If that's what your into then this is a quiet place to do it depending on what time your over there of course."
"Fabulous local site for walks and events! We have attended many events and featured days here with the children over the years, it's always a pleasure to support the events and local businesses and enjoy the beautiful setting beside the canal. The events always add to the atmosphere in the area for the community. It's great to see all ages and backgrounds come together all year round. The grounds are kept tidy and even when events are on walks are accessible for a lovely canal stroll which can be as brief or as long as you choose."

"Very interesting Park showing parts of the Salt industry from many years ago. Also information regarding the large barges that used to be carrying goods on the canal."
