"Rooms were lovely. We had a king size room which was good. Especially liked the coffee machine !! Bed was very comfy too. The receptionists were all so friendly. Shout out to Meg for being very nice and generous with the cookies, she made our night very special!"

"Beautiful old-fashioned hotel with impressive architecture. There room was large and comfortable with good facilities, although some colleagues had much larger ones including seating areas and coffee machines. Bathroom was particularly nice with a big rain shower. There was no air conditioning/temperature control that I could see though, which is a bit dated and surprising for a hotel of this standard. There is a large foyer and bar area open until late, and the breakfast buffet had a wide choice of hot and cold food. Staff were very polite and it was nice to be greeted with a hot cookie at reception. Digital room key via the Hilton Honors app was useful and made checkout easy (also an express checkout open for key cards). Location was conveniently close to the convention centre and many restaurants and bars; only a short 15 min walk to the train station. I did not use the gym or spa facilities, but I was told that these were good."

"Had a one night stay on a Secret Escape, meal deal. A few issues prior to to arrival. Sent a few emails regarding early check in so I could plan my husbands medication and book a table at the restaurant, I then rang to arrange with a member of staff, who, I found out at check in had left. Eventually got through to Alex, the duty Manager day before arrival, who went out of his way to accommodate us. He checked us in, phoned us when the room was ready, advised us on waiting an hour as the room he had planned was better, the room was great, booked the restaurant. Basically totally changed what started as a poor experience into a good one. Regarding the room, very clean, everything we needed including a large fan, meal in the restaurant was very good, plenty of staff (unusual these days!) all very attentive, helpful and professional, again at breakfast. The whole stay could have been far different if Alex had not provided such a good service. Advice for the hotel, please answer your emails that I got from your website or take if off altogether is nobody is going to respond. Just wastes customers time and is not a good start. "We had a wonderful stay at The Majestic! We were enjoying ourselves so much that we kept adding extra nights and wound up staying for four great nights. One highlight of this hotel was the friendly and welcoming staff. Our room was spacious, well furnished and completely up-to-date. The bedding was so comfortable, and the bathroom was modern. It was nice to have a fan for the warmer days. We visited the spa one day, and it was really nice, and they were very helpful. The hotel is a short stroll from all of the fun restaurants and shops in Harrogate. We'd love to come back sometime."

"A stunning building with beautiful architectural design. A lovely atmosphere in the lounge and dining room. Rooms were very spacious and beds nice and comfy. The spa was a personal highlight although the hot tub was cold which was disappointing. The breakfast also didn’t amaze me. Other than that, really enjoyed our stay and will be returning."
