"My two dogs stayed at Harlow Kennels and Cattery in August 2020 for a week. I visited beforehand and the staff seemed friendly and facilities decent. Within 24 hours of being home, however, one of my dogs ended up in hospital with a severe stomach upset. I informed the staff and they stated they had a duty of care to our dog as this had happened within 48 hours of her leaving. I was told the kennels would support me with the cost of hospitalisation, for which I was grateful in these times and duly sent through the invoice. However, despite contacting them twice since, there has been no help in this regard. I can accept this was a gesture of good will on the part of the kennels, but how can I trust somewhere again if their care has been called into question and they are not as good as their word?"
