"Find it hard saying this because we have had some really helpful times from here. But unfortunately on this occasion my mother took our dog max there who was suffering from sickness and diarrhoea was given some medication by the vet then sent on her way even though she pointed out to him max won’t let us do that as he is a bit snappy. Next day he was a lot worse he wouldn’t let us give him this medication he wasn’t drinking and wasn’t eating and had took a turn for the worse. Lady on the phone spoke to the vet who looked at him the day before only to be told basically you’ve got to give him that medication even though he had already been told he wouldn’t let us do it. Had to take him to another vet who gave him 2 injections and already he’s better in himself. He’s comfortable. This vet obviously didn’t care what he was going through and just made out it was our fault. Not very good I thought these people cared about animals. Update:- the vet we took him to told us max had got gastroenteritis straight away and gave him 2 injections. One an antibiotic and one for his sickness. Now any vet worth his weight would have known this. But because max is 13 we believe that this so called vet sent him home to die because he said all you can do now is keep him comfortable. When all he had to do was give him 2 injections. I do wander how many other older pets he’s done this to. Max is doing great he’s back to himself no thanks to this vet, I believe it would have been different outcome had we not took max somewhere else. Sorry for the bad review but this vet needs talking to."
"The PDSA are a fantastic organisation that helps people who can't afford treatment or care for their pets, I haven't used them personally but I have taken many people there in my taxi & I'm aware of their fantastic work."
"I can't thank the staff enough for the continued help and support they offered myself and family recently in helping our dog. Unfortunately it wasn't the result we was hoping for but pdsa went above and beyond to keep us updated and at ease in the most difficult times. No amount of money or the word thanks will ever be enough for the work these people do. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your amazing work."
