"I stayed in room 429 which was very spacious and very clean. The people working in the hotel were very friendly and helpful. There is a local takeaway places close by walking distance. There is also burger king WHSmith next door. Walking is absolutely free on site which is very handy."
"Soon as we opened the door we were hit by an awful stench. The room smelled so bad. Also dead flies in the corner of the room. Disgusting carpet and bathroom. Thank god we only had booked 1 night. Never again!! Next time I will be booking Premium Inn. Absolutely horrible experience. NEVER EVER AGAIN!!"
"This is a good, cheap stop-by hotel within London. Clean enough rooms, but the rest of hotel is dated and not very clean. It is on the motorway, so in and out could be restricted by one direction. The tube is not at the walking distance, but car parking is free at the hotel."
"We stayed for two nights and it was one of the worst travelodges we've ever stayed at. 1. Room doesn't look to have been cleaned in days. 2. Bathroom was really dirty didn't look to have been cleaned in weeks. The toilet had stains all over, the bath had dirt lines and the plug hole had some sort of disgusting material in it. 3. The walls are very very thin, you can hear everything from the people above. 4. Tv doesn't work at all 5. Radiator doesn't work at all either. 6. Windows are thin, you can hear everything from outside. 7. Bed isn't comfortable you can feel the springs. 8. Pillows are like clumpy and you can feel sections of the pillow which are stuck together and you can't loosen them to make it more comfortable."
"This was by far the worst Travelodge I have had the displeasure of using with the exception of the location. We use Travelodge all over the UK almost every weekend for work. The hotel was filthy. Me and my colleague did not want to stay but with having work 6 or 7 hours after checking in we needed to get some sleep. The room had not seen a hoover in a while. Dirt on the walls. The pull cord for the bathroom light was so dirty we didn't want to touch it. The bathroom light itself took far too long to come on after several flashes. The head board was coming away from the wall, there was 3 or 4 large spiders around the room and webs hanging from the ceiling suggesting no cleaning had been done for a long while. The room was not freshly aired out either. It was as if they hadn't opened the window in a month or 2. Even leaving the window open all night like we did, had very little effect on the room. The window had an airing vent type thing on the top of it. Which I originally opened, but the state of the inside meant I had to close it. It was disgusting. The shower was vile. The handrails were the worst I've seen in any hotel and there was no toilet seat lid. The toilet flush was temperamental as well. The light flickered for a good 6 or 7 seconds before finally coming on in there too. The beds were uncomfortable and one of them had clearly not been changed. Thankfully this was easily sorted but the standards had us concerned that even the fresh stuff was maybe not clean. Baring all that in mind, this was the disabled/accessible room as well. Absolutely ridiculous state. The location was good being just outside Heathrow. Easy on the M4 into London. But this isn't enough to justify us retuning to this Travelodge."
