"We gave Claire and Neil a challenge and they blew it out of the water! Spending one day in Liverpool with a focus on Beatles sites and info, but also wanting to visit Crosby Beach for the "Another Place" installation, as well as see the city center AND meet up with my pen pal, whom I'd never met before, I proposed all this to Claire in early January when we initially began our trip plans. We corresponded by email over several weeks working out details and booking her for our day. Claire was glad to include a meet up with my pen pal and even offered she spend the afternoon touring with us! Since my pen pal was travelling to Liverpool from Leicester, it was wonderful to have the whole afternoon with her rather than just a lunch meet up. She enjoyed learning additional info about Liverpool that she had not known as well. We were greeted at the airport by a smiling and ready-to-go Claire and brought out to meet Neil in the car park where we boarded their beautiful new van to begin our day. It was jam packed and Claire was keen to keep us on our schedule, which was REALLY important for me, since I have a tendency to linger in places and take WAY too many pictures! Both Neil and Claire were a wealth of information and didn't just spout out facts as though from a script...you could tell they truly enjoyed what they were doing and were quite proud of their city as well. We could never have seen all we did without their expert guidance. Not only did we see all we'd asked to see, but they had lots of little extra sites to share with us as well. I can't say enough about this experience and would suggest anyone looking for top-rate travel guides should definitely hook up with Brilliant Liverpool Tours!!! It truly was BRILLIANT!"
