Reviews
"*I decided to edit my original review* I decided to become a volunteer at RLCF shortly after my original review. I can honestly say that Lucy and the team of other volunteers are very hard working and care about the farm 100%. I have also been fortunate enough to meet Sean who is one of the trustees of the farm. They have got a good variety of animals here and they are always looking to add more. (I previously said that the animals that are on display varies day to day) this isn't the case. It is all down to luck, sometimes the animals might be in their houses asleep or other times they will be out in their pens and wanting to say hello! Overlooked by HMP Walton and surrounded by busy roads, I myself at peace when I'm working at RLCF because it's an area where you can come and forget about the world for a little while. *My original review;* Great little place to bring kids, the selection of animals that are on display varies from day to day. It is relatively small but the staff are known to be around and are quite happy to stand and chat. You have also got the fields with other animals in to go and see. There is also a bunch of historic graves and a Chapel so you can pay your respects. I have been here a couple of times and on my latest visit the public toilet was in poor condition I hope that this is sorted soon. None the less it is definitely a good place to visit."
"Such a lovely time we had. Perfect visit with kids! ☺️"
"Beautiful quiet place to have a wander and see the animals, cute chapel and pay respects to those who have passed. Lovely produce to buy and friendly staff who clearly care."
"Nice, quiet, small farm in city. Friendly staff, children really enjoyed it. Was not able to meet all of the animals today, but hopefully soon. Easily accessible by car, bus or train. Great inexpensive day out with kids."
"What a lovely, peaceful place to get away from all the noise of the city for a little bit. Kids had a great time looking at the animals and even petting some of them!"
