"I visited the spa last week for a birthday treat with my sister, we had the afternoon tea and spa treatment package absolutely brilliant experience 10/10. The staff were so friendly, professional and welcoming at the spa, and we can honestly say the back massage was the best we have ever experienced,and we have visited quite a few places over the years.The afternoon tea was fresh, tasty and plentiful. Thankyou for a lovely memory made and we can't wait to visit again soon!"

"I had a lovely Chill out day at the Wrightington Spa. The facilities were very good. The relaxation room has a great atmosphere with comfortable recliner and lemon water on tap. The best part was the excellent massages. I had an amazing back massage that got rid of the knots in my shoulder. I’m definitely coming back for another massage!"

"I booked afternoon treat for me and my friend. We could use the spa, gym, pool etc from 10 am. After that we went into the relaxation room and then had afternoon tea. This was the nicest afternoon tea I've ever had, soup, lovely fresh sandwiches, warm scones and a good selection of cakes. We took some home with us as there was just too much to much to eat! We then had back massages which were so relaxing that I fell asleep. We will definitely book again. The spa is lovely and has a relaxing atmosphere and it's in a beautiful setting. Staff were lovely also."

"After a stressful week at work - I was looking forward to relaxing whilst having a luxury pedicure. I walked into the reception area to staff who were all miserable and leaning against the counter. It wasn’t a warm and friendly welcome which I’m used to when Clare was the Manager. For the first time ever I was asked to pay upfront before my treatment. I was taken across the corridor to a room which was playing tranquil music. The beautician did not run through the treatment and wasn’t really friendly when I think about it. She went off to make me a coffee whilst my feet were soaking (she was gone ages) in that time there was children running up the corridor, screaming, I could hear the music from the gym, and to top it all, someone started hoovering which was really loud. To my understanding a spa is somewhere you go for a treat and to unwind. I’ve been to spas all over the world; they have always made me feel special and I have left feeling fabulous. Money always well spent. This was the worst experience to date! I would not recommend it to anyone and I am now sorry I’ve wasted my Sunday morning. The receptionist was very understanding and issued a full refund immediately. This place does not even deserve one star!"

"Spa was so relaxing and facilities were lovely - so were the girls! The package we got was the ‘total chill out’ which was such a good deal - the lunch was great too! We can’t wait to come back to see the updated spa and would recommend to friends."
