"Don't pay extra for MORE THAN Home Emergency Cover. MORE THAN how come your Home Emergency Cover does not cover leaking pipes into a water softener? A water pipe feeding into our water softener is leaking and a very rude engineer from your contractor CET-UK (which I am fearing is not treating their employees very well given how unwilling to help he was) came, had a look and didn't even check where the leak was, as soon as he saw the water softener he was just not willing to help. The water softener works - it is the pipe feeding into that's the problem. Anyway Tesco Home Emergency service was miles better when we used them last year for a defective boiler and I am now considering switching back as so far not sure it is worth paying extra to have MORE THAN Home Emergency Cover."
"Morethan Pet Insurance are rubbish, refuse to pay claims based on changing decisions, make a complaint and try to get the vets report which they refuse to give, hide behind private companies don't have to provide info when requested Freedom of Data Request. Will go to ombudsman to see if I can some satisfaction when I pay insurance premium but Morethan who are part of RSA Group won't pay. Go elsewhere."
"Honestly wouldn't recommend More Than to anyone, ive been waiting over a year for a refund due to More Than not cancelling home insurance like i told them to. Expecting my cheque in the post this week, if i dont receive it i will be getting in contact with the financial ombudsman to report them. Anyone reading this insure whether to use morr than, get the financial ombudsmans number saved on your phone so you're ready"
"I had the most distress full experience with this insurance provider. After giving me a quote online and went to pay for the insurance over the phone they would not except payment from my friend as apparently some law or something which never made sense. The representative over the phone seemed very unprofessional and lack of good customer service skills. I have made a complaint against them and are awaiting a reply from them to see what the higher management have to say as it is out of order. Another insurance company did not have a problem with it and was abled to take the payment in full & provide the insurance. I believe that More Than insurance was very unfair with me as i have never heard of such rules in my 20 yrs of driving and insuring myself and wasted a good few hours of my time over 2 days. Also they ask you questions that have got no relevance to the motor lnsurance like do you have house insurance, etc, etc. Fishing around to see what else they can sell to you. I dont recommend them for anyone ☹️☹️☹️"
"I'm not sure if I'm impressed or disappointed. After receiving a renewal which was more expensive that last year ( so much for customer loyalty) and more expensive than other companies I phoned to cancel. They obviously don't do retentions because they were happy to just cancel. However, I was told I would receive an email with my full no claims bonus (because they only give 9 Yeats Max) in an email. After 3 hours... nothing. Ring back to be told it takes between 24 and 48hrs to send an email! Just think about that for a minute. It takes a big company "More than" (pun intended) 24hrs to send an email. In that time I've sent countless texts and emails. So much for customer service, this company has failed on "More than" one level. It's disgraceful."
