"Absolutely wonderful experience. Booked the meal and overnight stay deal. All staff very friendly and attentive no waiting for anything. It was a birthday celebration and we were given a complimentary bottle of prosecco in our room such a lovely touch. Food was exemplary with an extensive menu. We certainly be returning."
"My family and I have just had a lovely evening at The Rufford Arms to celebrate my sister in laws 60th birthday. There was lots of variety on the menu, our dairy intolerant nephew was well catered for and my picky hard to please 90year old mum ate everything without complaint, that's a miracle in itself. The atmosphere was relaxed and friendly and it was beautifully decorated for Christmas. The service was excellent with very attentive staff no long gaps between courses, drinks topped up often. Will definitely go here for our next big celebration, it was a big open space and our party of 14 never felt cramped or hemmed in. We've all left feeling full and very happy. Would recommend 100%"

"Quality food and quality staff and service. Dog friendly. (After sitting down our dog Lola was given a bowl of water and a saucer full of treats! ) Our party of 4 thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience and would 100% come again without hesitation. Portion size was excellent. The car parking spaces are narrow but not helped by the poor parking of some of the clientele!"
"We only went to the bar after a nice walk down by the canal. Staff were lovely and very friendly. We ordered a round of drinks and they even brought out a bowl of water for the dog without being asked. We're definitely planning on going back to sample the food, which looked absolutely gorgeous."
