"even though they have my prescription delivered in, they refused to prepare it on Thursday 02.02.23 and said they will do in Saturday 4th Feb 2023. even though i have explained i have run out of medication required to prevent blood clots on my recently fitted mechanical aortic heart valve, but the lady just said they won't help and prepare it as urgent or to help in this situation, they will only do it on Saturday! In the meantime then i suppose the risk of a blood clot is worth the gamble for them at Boots! I am absolutely disgusted with the attitude that this particular lady had and the complete unwillingness to help in such circumstances. Customer service and compassion completely missing here!"
"I rang up for a certain drug that they could not get and did not have in stock"
"Terrible pharmacy, the second time iv been in for a prescription today to be told a 10-15 min wait, the first time it was 50 minutes, i had to ask how long it would be to be told they where going as fast as they could and sighed at, its supet busy so completely understand the wait times but they need to be honest so you can decide to come back. The second time today i was agaun told 10-15 mins, half an hour went by with a poorly baby so o asked again to be told they must of shouted me because it was back in the fridge, i was sat right next to the counter trying to keep my baby happy, i didnt hear them shout and i was the only one in at this point and no staff thought to ask if i was ok just sat waiting, the lady on the till didnt say anything at all just handed me the bsg. Their was 2 women on the till one was lovely one was miserable."
"Can't believe going for my influenza jab. Today appointment booked ask me to fill in 25.questions in on shops tablet. 74years.old not cluehow .to to use ne.s walked away. Not got my jab."
"I needed an emergency prescription but the support given to get this was poor. The pharmacist said he had considered my circumstances, but he had no idea because he didn't ask or listen! I genuinely believe that most people facing what I faced today would give up and skip taking their medication until their GP/ usual pharmacist was available, leading some people to illness which could be entirely preventable. Please think big picture Boots in Sherburn in Elmet. Consider people as people not objects you are dispensing to, and listen to support compassionately."
