"horrible service - only asked for regular acrylics but was charged the price of gel acrylics. cost 40 on the most basic set and the nails were done sloppily too. shapes not consistent and the french tips were poorly done. on top, the guy was so rough with the service my cuticles kept bleeding. never had any nail tech make my cuticles bleed. not happy and got ripped off for the price."
"First time coming to this nail salon, but I've always walked past it when heading to the Tescos. Was a last minute decision as I had broken one of my nails and had a wedding to go to in the evening. They have a walk-in system only (you grab a ticket when you come in), so be prepared to wait when they're busy. I waited for about an hour before it was my turn, but I could see that all the technicians took a lot of care with their clients. Previous salons I've been to the technicians would be rushing to do my nails. The technician who did my nails was great, unfortunately I forgot to ask for his name! We had a lovely chat whilst he fixed my nails, this was on 5 October and as I'm writing this review the shellac on my nails are still going strong :)"
"Do Not Go Here!! Substandard Nails at expensive prices and Terrible Customer service!! Had to go back just two days after getting my nails done as they were already lifting. They were not done properly. As opposed to apologising and fixing my nails, I was made to feel very uncomfortable for wanting the nails that I paid for to be done properly. 1st the lady only wanted to fix one nail when it was clear that multiple nails were lifting. Then when she began doing them was rushing and cowardly talking about me in her language to her colleague. Not looking at what needed to be done. So she ended up having to start over again. I was then told by one of the male owners that I am too fussy, it was taking too long and I should not come back to his salon. When I replied that's fine, as it is very bad customer service to say something like that to a customer when his worker did not do her job properly. He then proceeded to point around the store telling me to look; that he has loads of customers, so he does not need my service. Shocked and appalled, to say the least. It takes the customers to enable the business to run and this is how they treat them. They have no care or respect. Especially for black and young people like myself. This is not the first time I’ve heard the same man be rude to customers. I haven't been to this place in years because their nail service went downhill. They have just started getting back busy so I decided to see if their service has improved as the nail salon I usually go to was fully booked. But never again. A ridiculously long wait that you will regret. There are many other salons with lovely customer service, and that do better quality nails. Don’t make my mistake. I should have listened to the bad reviews that are on here. All they care about is getting your money and once they do, they do not care about you."
"I got my nails done on Friday by a nail tech called Danny. I have been a seeing Danny for years now and he was very very nice. Last month I didn’t have a great experience. Due a nail tech called Tina cancelling on me and not phoning me to inform me that she wasn’t going to in work. I have moved on from that now. I’m really happy with my nails. I just wouldn’t recommend booking an appointment with Tina because she’s not reliable at all in my opinion. If you do decide to book an appointment with Tina. I would strongly recommend booking an late morning or afternoon appointment with Tina and ring the salon an hour ahead of your appointment and ask the salon if Tina is in so you don’t have a wasted journey."
