"I found this place during a walk and I spent really good time. Very professional with attention to all the details and my requests. I received a discount but the price was still up of my thought. I'm still happy so something spend a little more doesn't hurt ."
"I got nail art done and had an amazing experience. I didn’t chose the easiest nail art and it still was done so so well. It’s been almost a week and I’m still looking at my nails with disbelief, it’s just so impressive. I’m obsessed with it, I’ll for sure come back! Thank you!"
"I like it. My first time. The staff seem nice enough. I was slightly confused my service needed to be rushed because i booked in all the right things yet was told they tech won't have time for nail art...whats the point of booking it in then? I felt under pressure to keep my design simple in the end. I would still go back to try again."
"All in all my nails look good and professional, which was the aim. Hence three stars. I wasn't too impressed with the small talk though with one of the first things the nail tech saying to me was "you don't seem like you're enjoying the manicure process". Maybe I have a resting angry face but in honesty it's been a long and busy day for me and I'm extremely tired after being up early and working hard in my job. It made the rest of the appointment quite awkward imo. My nails were looked after but the cuticle pushing was a tad rough and was quite sore afterwards and bled on two nails. To be fair one was already inflamed slightly. But care should've been taken really as bleeding shouldn't be necessary. I didn't say anything but after the initial comment mentioned above, it was all a bit awkward. I've had the gel bottle previously and never had burning nail beds, maybe the UV lights here were different to previous technician's? But it hurt, a lot, I'd recommend looking into that a bit. I don't think it's my nails as they've never burned before, except when I had CND plexigel ages ago, maybe it's the CND lights used here, same as with plexigel? Just applying hand cream in a non-committal manner isn't what I expect when I pay this much for a manicure. Even the cheapest places I've been include a a hand massage. Lastly, I booked a complete gel removal and fresh BIAB my nails were 8 weeks grown and I thought fresh would be best and for some reason fresh is cheaper than infill here (I don't think that's normally the case at many salons). But it was decided they would infill my nails and charge me an extra £7, fine but the appointment was supposed to then be 1hr 45mins from 18:15 my email from fresha says, they started at 18:15 but I left at 19:10 (I called my mum post leaving), almost an hour before I should have finished. I don't mind if you're going to charge me more but at least give me a reason for it? Say oh we've finished early, do you want any art? I might have said yes if it were included. Tldr: a good end result (if you don't mind the sore cuticles), but things could have been better Edit, I've now added photos of some of my bleeding nails, both thumbs and left middle finger. Quite red still at the cuticle area"
"After being pleased with my BIAB and gel manicure initially, I was shocked when on day 2 the gels started coming off entirely. I was on holiday so not doing anything unusual / strenuous. By day 4, I only had 3 nails left in tact?! - not what I’d expect from a £45 treatment. I contacted the salon via web form when the first gel came off and no one has got back to me since. Wouldn’t recommend here for gels."
